Esperia Group Hosts Beach Clean-Up Event with 1st Elementary School of Kalithies
At Esperia Group, we are committed to not only providing exceptional experiences for our guests but also to fostering a deep sense of responsibility toward the environment and our local communities. In line with this commitment, we were proud to host a special beach clean-up event at Esperides Beach Resort, inviting the students from the 1st Elementary School of Kalithies, Rhodes to participate in a meaningful initiative to protect our precious coastline.
The event was designed to engage young minds in hands-on environmental action, helping them understand the importance of protecting the natural beauty of our beaches. By participating in the clean-up, the children learned valuable lessons about sustainability, environmental responsibility, and the impact that small actions can have on the future of our planet.
A Day of Learning and Action
With great enthusiasm and energy, the students worked together with our team and local volunteers to collect litter and debris from Esperides Beach, playing an active role in preserving one of Rhodes’ most beautiful coastal areas. While the clean-up helped restore the beach’s pristine beauty, the true impact of the day was on the students themselves.
Our aim was not only to clean the beach but also to educate the next generation on the importance of environmental care. By bringing the children into nature and involving them in a hands-on project, we hope to inspire a long-lasting appreciation for sustainability and a sense of responsibility for the environment.
Building Environmental Awareness for a Sustainable Future
The clean-up event is part of Esperia Group’s broader sustainability initiatives. As one of the leading hospitality groups in the region, we recognize the critical role we play in protecting the environment, and we are committed to driving positive change. By inviting children to actively participate in these efforts, we hope to plant the seeds of environmental awareness early on.
“We believe that environmental education starts at a young age,” said Chris Zamagia, Public Relations & Communications Director of Esperia Group. “Through initiatives like this, we not only preserve our beautiful beaches but also empower the younger generation to become stewards of the environment. We are proud to host the 1st Elementary School of Kalithies and hope that this experience inspires them to continue caring for the planet for years to come.”
A Big Thank You to Our Future Environmental Heroes
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the students, teachers, and volunteers from the 1st Elementary School of Kalithies for their dedication and enthusiasm in making this beach clean-up a success. The children’s eagerness to participate and their desire to make a positive impact left us truly inspired.
At Esperia Group, we believe that small actions, when multiplied, can lead to significant change. We are honored to have shared this experience with such a passionate group of young individuals and look forward to continuing our efforts to promote sustainability both within our hotels and in the community.
